About the Desert of Maryland Daughters

The Desert of Maryland Daughters is proudly comprised of 8 Courts, and is a part of the Imperial Court Daughters, an auxiliary of the A.E.A.O.N.M.S. Throughout the years the Desert of Maryland has grown exponentially. This remarkable growth is a testament to the pioneering efforts of Jerusalem Court No. 1, our esteemed "Mother Court", whose dedication to chartering new Courts laid the foundation for our thriving Desert community.

In 1983, in recognition of the expanding membership and the need for unified collaboration, the state officially began convening as a Desert. Since that pivotal moment, the Desert of Maryland has flourished, fostering a spirit of unity and purpose among its members. Through events and gatherings, such as Annual Conferences and steadfast support for one another’s initiatives, we have cultivated strong bonds that transcend individual Courts.

Together, the Desert of Maryland Daughters have made a lasting impact on our Desert and our communities, driven by a shared commitment to service, leadership, and fellowship.
