Desert Unity Pledge

Dear Desert of Maryland,

We, the Deputy of the Desert, HPIP Anthony D. Thorpe and Deputy for the Desert HPIC, Larolyn N. Young, hereby pledge our commitment to fostering unity, collaboration, and a positive working relationship between the Nobles and Daughters in Maryland.

Recognizing that a strong team is built on trust, communication, and shared goals, we aim to create an environment where everyone feels valued and heard. As we embark on this journey towards improved collaboration, we pledge to be commited to the following principles:

• Open and Respectful Communication: We will actively listen to one another, share ideas, provide constructive feedback, and encourage open dialogue to enhance understanding and foster innovation. 

• Collaboration and Shared Accountability: We recognize that success is a collective effort. We will actively seek opportunities to collaborate, leverage each other's strengths, and hold ourselves mutually accountable for achieving common goals.

• Trust and Support: We will prioritize building trusting relationships by demonstrating respect, integrity, and empathy towards one another. We will support each other's professional growth and success.

• Resource Sharing and Knowledge Exchange: We will actively share resources, information, and knowledge, cultivating a culture of continuous learning and development.

• Celebrating Diversity: We appreciate the unique skills, perspectives, and backgrounds that each Deputy and respective members brings to the table. We will foster inclusivity, embracing diversity in all its forms. By upholding these principles, we aim to create a work environment that promotes collaboration, innovation, and the collective upliftment of our organization. Together, we can achieve more than any individual department can accomplish alone.
