Salah Al-Din Court No. 230 is an Auxiliary of the A.E.A.O.N.M.S. The Salah Al-Din Daughters Club was initially established in 2012. It was revived in November 2016 when Past Potentate William Northern reconvened a group of interested ladies based on the names of female family members and friends submitted by the Nobles of Salah Al-Din Temple No. 234. Past Potentates Edward High and Monte Simpkins were instrumental in providing support and guidance in establishing the Temple’s Auxiliary.
Through late 2016 and early 2017, Club members met monthly, elected officers and participated in such activities as adopting William Beans Elementary School in the Oasis of Landover to provide its students with coats and school supplies, running a donation drive for prom dresses for local young ladies, and collecting toiletries for our veterans. Club members also supported Salah Al-Din Temple’s 2017 Potentate Ball, NDI Walk, and Jubilee Day, to name a few. The initial elected Club Officers were Christine Garrett, President, Chanda Adkisson, Vice President,
LaShantha Green, Treasurer and Taren Bradley, Secretary.
Under the tutelage of Tuwa Court No. 210 and Honorary Past Imperial Commandress Dt. Michelle Dowylene, the Daughters of Salah Al-Din Court Under Dispensation were created on June 24, 2017, by Actual Past Imperial Commandress Alicia J. Chisolm.
Salah Al-Din Court No. 230 received its Charter on Aug. 22, 2017, at the 106th Imperial Court Session in Kansas City, MO. The first Officers of the Court were Chanda Adkisson, Illustrious Commandress, Taren Bradley, 1st Lt. Commandress, Joi Jackson, 2nd Lt. Commandress, Courtney Byrd, High Priestess, Tawanna Green, Oriental Guide, Shecola Robinson, Recordress, and LaShantha Green, Treasurer. Salah Al-Din Court has been led by eight Illustrious Commandresses. Presently serving as the 2025 Illustrious Commandress is Dt. Janell White, HPC. Salah Al-Din has two Honorary Past Commandresses and two Appointed Imperial Court Officers.
Salah Al-Din Court No. 230 is the sixth Court to be established in the Desert of Maryland.
