Thank you for allowing me to serve as your Illustrious Commandress for this year 2025. I first believe that all things begin with our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ...As I embark on this Reassignment, I will always refer to my scripture quoted above, to get me through. I will work for you to the best of my ability. I will keep an open mind this year. My plan is to bring a fresh innovative energy to our Court in hopes that we will be able to work well together and keep “Anwar Court” the primary focus. Everything else will fall into place. 

In this Address to the Court, I would like to make a formal introduction for members who do not know who I am;  I am Dt. Toriea Boyce-Mosley PC, and I have been a member of Anwar since 2009. I began my appointed seating as 2nd Ceremonial Daughter, and I moved to my next seat as 1st Ceremonial Daughter. I was absent from the Court due to a Brain Aneurysm and upon my return, I landed in the 1st Ceremonial Daughter seat once again. From there, I have sat in each seat to follow at least twice and behold – I now sit in the East for the second time, my first being in 2020 year of Covid 19 I’d just like to say – I M BACK!!

To our Court which I serve and love, I am not a stranger to hard work, dedication or commitment. Now that I’ve given you a brief overview, I hope you have a better understanding of me. I have served as the Creation Team Captain for Anwar Court for many years. One of the top objectives I would like to see this year is an increase in membership and more involvement in the Community Outreach projects. I would like for us to work hard at increasing the funds for our scholarship program, along with getting our D.I.M.E.S. initiative activated. Our children are the gateway to the future, so let’s help them get there. We have lots of talented intellectual Daughters in this Court. Let us show the Desert of Maryland and the whole domain the excellence coming from our Oasis. I really hope to see members that are on our roster that have not been seen in a while, be more visible and present. With your blessing I would personally like to visit with Daughters to talk about

what we can do to get you to come back and be active members again. Our Divan will be strong and unified, and our communication will be the same way as well. I believe that communication is the key to strength and growth. For something to grow, you must water it. 

In closing, let’s put away old things and roll up our sleeves and start fresh with this 2025 Vision – A NEW ANWAR.
