HPIC Larolyn “Nikki” Young, (193), is the Deputy for the Desert of Maryland and a highly accomplished professional who served as the Lead Strategist for the Skills Bank Project within the Joint Strategic Development Department of the Imperial Council and Imperial Court. Her remarkable journey began in 2001 as a new daughter created in Misr Court #193, and she has since achieved numerous leadership positions and accomplishments within her court and beyond. This resulted in being award the Imperial Court Service Award.
As a dedicated Daughter, HPIC Larolyn has served as Illustrious Commandress and was elected as President of the Past Commandress Council within her Court. She has also contributed her time and expertise to several DOI committees, demonstrating her commitment to the organization's mission and goals.
In addition to her Daughter achievements, HPIC Larolyn has also excelled in her military and academic pursuits. She is a veteran of the United States Air Force Reserve, with experience serving in Desert Storm. She is a proud member of the Kappa Epsilon Military Sorority, Inc (KEY) and holds a Bachelor's in Business Administration, Masters in Business Administration (MBA), Masters in Healthcare Management, and a Certification in Informatics.
In her professional experience, HPIC Larolyn has established herself as a strategic planner and business analyst for the Defense Health Agency/DOD. She is also the founder of HUGS (Helping Us Grow Stronger), a 501(c)3 charitable foundation dedicated to making a positive impact in the community.
Currently, HPIC Larolyn serves as a Data Integration Chief within the Federal Government, where she responds to technical and policy issues regarding the development and implementation of critical initiatives. Her diverse background and extensive experience uniquely position her to provide both strategic and tactical insight to align the organization's needs with its human capital and resources.
